Join Chatsworth’s Archive and Library team for a close look at fascinating examples from the Chatsworth collection. You’ll get to see Devonshire family memories in photographs, exercise books, school reports, and children’s letters, along with accounts of the schoolgirls evacuated to Chatsworth during World War II.
You’ll get a glimpse into the lives of governesses and nannies who looked after children at Chatsworth, and explore loss and childhood mortality through poignant letters and diaries.
This event costs £50 per person, includes parking and admission to the house, garden and farmyard.
