You’ll get to see Devonshire family memories in photographs, exercise books, school reports, and children’s letters, along with accounts of the schoolgirls evacuated to Chatsworth during World War II.

You’ll get a glimpse into the lives of governesses and nannies who looked after children at Chatsworth, and explore loss and childhood mortality through poignant letters and diaries.

This event costs £50 per person, includes parking and admission to the house, garden and farmyard.
