A unique countryside escape immersed in history
Situated on the Chatsworth Estate, The Cavendish Hotel gives you unrivalled access to everything the Peak District has to offer.

Heritage design
Designed by Nicola Harding, the interiors at The Cavendish Hotel in Baslow are inspired by Chatsworth’s art, history and people.
“We sourced incredible pieces from upholsterers, craftspeople and makers, such as locally woven organic cotton and linen fabrics and glazed ceramic bedside lamps made by a member of the Chatsworth team. We even drew on the art and family photos from the Devonshire family’s personal collection.”
Nicola Harding
The eclectic collection of art on display in the hotel includes works by Elisabeth Frink, Phyllida Barlow, Lisa Brice, Elizabeth Peyton and Jeremy Deller.
